Frequently asked questions

How do I learn to Wingfoil?

Our Wingfoil courses are flexible and performance based, which means that we offer a wide variety of schedules, organized according to how fast you progress and of course wind dependent.

How long does it take to learn?

While our basic courses are four days long, achieving mastery in the sport requires dedicated practice over time, much like any other athletic endeavor. Progress varies individually based on prior knowledge and skills; some may choose additional lessons post-course, while others are content to continue refining their skills independently.

Is wingfoiling safe?

Yes, wingfoiling is a safe water sport when taught by our experienced instructors, with a focus on proper equipment usage, technique, and adherence to safety guidelines.

What equipment will be provided?

Depending on the lesson you are having you will be provided with a board with or without a foil, a wing, life jacket, helmet and knee pads.

What gear will I need to bring?

You need to come dressed for the beach, bikinis, bathing suits, swimming trunks or wetsuits are all acceptable. Rock shoes/ wetsuit shoes are recommended. Everything else will be provided.

Do I have to be a good swimmer to wingfoil?

Some swimming ability is required. You will be provided with a life jacket for safety but you will need to have basic swim skills and be comfortable in the water in case you fall off the board.
